The CIVILHOOD Project, supported by the EU’s Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund, focuses on aiding the integration of unaccompanied minors into the labor market as they approach adulthood. Running from January 1, 2022, to February 29, 2024, in Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Austria, and Slovenia, this initiative addresses the challenges faced by these minors, including legal, educational, and social integration hurdles. Through a combination of needs analysis, professional training, and the development of educational tools in multiple languages, the project has made significant strides. It has trained 350 stakeholders and 150 unaccompanied minors, offering them a foundation in civic education and employability skills. This comprehensive approach not only aids in their transition to early adulthood but also fosters their active and responsible participation in society.
