Many of the unaccompanied minors in Cyprus stated that while their legal status was explained to them at the First Reception Center; that they still do not understand what their legal status is. Additionally, information regarding their legal status was given only orally at a stressful time with no written material enabling the UASCs to clarify any further questions they may have had.
